St Mary Abbots Terrace is the south side of Holland Park Road. It is a 1960s development of Georgian town houses with gardens, built as a series of cul-de-sacs off Holland Park Road. The architects were Stone Toms and Partners.
The houses generally have small attractive front and rear gardens.
There is much greenery, and many houses are covered in attractive creepers and have small trees and shrubs in front. They contrast well with the red-brick Victorian houses which they adjoin in Holland Park Road.
Despite its proximity to the busy Kensington High Street, it is particularly quiet and is a delightful backwater.
At the Addison Road end there is a 9-storey block of flats.
